Most pillows are 4-8x size the size of the average human head. our minimalistic round design is focused on providing the user with support, comfort and temperature regulation without sacrificing the integrity of the pillow. This is achieved with our Crater, a 2 inch concave allowing the head to be set in the pillow. Our gel grid technology base provides structure and support for even weight distribution. In addition, the round pillow design allows for a less cumbersome pillow, about 50% smaller than a Queen size pillow. All of this means is Moon Pillow, is a pillow that works for everyone

What is a crazy story about the startup?:
While I was working on the prototypes, I had no idea how to shape and cut memory foam. I tried a knife, box opener, even a spaghetti sauce lid..nothing was working. until I saw my mother-in-law’s electric turkey-carver. I casually asked to borrow it for the rotisserie chicken we had cooking at home. when I got home I got to work, on the foam not the chicken, and boy did it work! It was rough around the edges but it gave me a general idea of what the pillow should look like.
What is a company the startup looks up to, and why?:
Purple Mattress. They are all about quality innovative products and we strive to offer our backers and customers the same.
The company in four years will be…
Selling in retail locations such as Target, Walmart, Costco. As well as selling to the hospitality sector of spas and hotels. I would imagine our team would grow to somewhere around 10-15 employees to help with the marketing, production and logistics.
