Zip2

Elon Musk started Zip2 as his first company with his brother Kimbal and Greg Kouri. X.com

SpaceX

Afterward, He moved forward in building SpaceX with his own money as an investment and he became the CEO and Chief Engineer of the company in 2002. In 2015, to make reusable rockets, the company successfully landed Falcon 9 on an inland platform. In recent years, Tesla has also been working with Robots and they finally developed Optimus.

SolarCity Corporation, later acquired by Tesla Inc. in 2016, was renamed Tesla Energy. Elon Musk’s cousins Lyndon and Peter Rive are the founders of this company and Elon Musk is the chairman. The company primarily focuses on selling and installing solar energy production systems and several other related services.

Neuralink

During the year 2016, Business Tycoon Elon Musk co-founded a neurotechnology-based startup company named “Neuralink”. He provided about 100 million dollars as an initial investment. The company plans to develop the human brain with Artificial Intelligence for future development. They are moving forward to developing devices to integrate into people’s brains to ensure better mental capacity and memory and likewise. The company appears to conduct research on animals. The Boring Company

Elon Musk founded this company in 2017 for the construction of tunnels. This company completed the Los Angeles tunnel, 3.2 km in length, in 2018. Furthermore, a tunnel under Las Vegas Convention Center finished in 2021. Additionally, approval for a tunnel also went through for construction in Fort Lauderdale in Florida.

Twitter

Elon Musk became interested in buying Twitter in 2017. And after a while, in 2022, after a series of incidents related to buying shares and becoming the largest shareholder, Elon Musk finally acquired Twitter. Although, most of the users on Twitter are not happy with the Twitter experience under his leadership, nonetheless, he has acquired a top-notch organization.

OpenAI

Musk co-founded OpenAI in 2015, which is essentially an artificial intelligence research company to develop artificial intelligence for helping humanity better in their pursuit. After 2018, OpenAI has continuously made significant advancements in machine learning by producing neural networks like GPT-3 and DALL-E. GPT-3 helps to produce human-like text, whereas DALL-E helps to produce digital images from descriptions of natural languages.
